Pure 100% Botanical hair colour...

I'm all about botanicals, in case you hadn't already guessed, so today I just wanted to share with you a piece I wrote in Femail DailyMail (today Monday 31st April) - a slightly longer version you can read over on my JOGB wellbeing beauty e-zine site  - that's all about the new trend for 100% natural colour as more and more of us (much like our prefumes and candles right?) turn our backs on synthetics in our environment and our lifestyle. Plus...

1) When your hair looks good...you feel great. And JOGBLiving is all about feeling in a great mood... naturally.

2) I've never dyed my naturally auburn hair until now, and even at my age it was a scary experience to trust another with a bit of you that, on a good hair day, you like to think you treat like a cashmere cardi!

3) This is my very first salon colour experience - the brilliant Hari's Herb House at Hari's new salon 88 Fulham Road, London SW3, that is dedicated to botanical colour (less chemicals, less allergies but the glossiest shine) mixing many different tinting herbs together such as henna with turmeric, coffee and hibiscus powder. I've always had an itchy scalp - never needed colour before but the greys were doubling rapidly... but there was no way I would use conventional chemically overloaded colour - that also would be tricky to match. I'd much rather go grey.

My mantra: Go Botanical babes...
